The single fastest way to lower a packing bill is to decide what is not going before we start. We will tell you honestly which rooms are worth paying us for.

Materials arrive with the crew
You do not need to source boxes ahead of time. The crew brings what the house needs, including the dish packs and wardrobe boxes most people forget.

Room by room, labeled as we go
Each box is marked with its room and its contents before it is taped shut. That label is what makes unpacking survivable.

Fragiles get the extra pass
China, stemware, art and mirrors are wrapped individually and packed in cartons built for them, with the box marked so the loaders know where it can sit on the truck.

Unpack, if you want it
At the new house we can unpack, place things in cabinets, and haul away every box and every scrap of paper the same day.

How far ahead should packing happen?
The day before the move for most homes. Large houses or a full pack with a lot of fragiles may take two days. We schedule it so the last box is taped the evening before the truck arrives.
Can I pack some of it myself?
Absolutely, and most people should. Books, linens, clothes and garage items are easy to do yourself. Hand us the kitchen, the china, the art and the electronics — those are where professional packing actually earns its money.
Do you supply the boxes?
Yes, and we bring them with us — boxes in every size, wardrobe boxes, dish packs, mirror cartons, paper and tape. Materials are billed at cost.
What should I not let anyone pack?
Documents, jewelry, medication, cash, keys and anything irreplaceable should travel with you. Also flammables, propane and aerosols, which cannot legally ride on a moving truck.
Will you unpack at the new house?
Yes. We can unpack boxes, put things away where you want them, break down the cartons and take all the packing debris with us so you are not living around a wall of empty boxes for a month.
