Step by step

How it actually goes

  1. Walk-through of both suites

    We count workstations, look at the loading access, the elevator, the dock hours and the freight rules at both ends. Building restrictions decide more about an office move than the furniture does.

  2. A plan with a clock on it

    Working backwards from the hour you need to be operational. Most offices we move on a Friday night or across a Saturday and hand back ready for Monday.

  3. Label and map

    Every room in the new suite gets a number. Every box, chair and workstation gets the matching label. The crew does not have to ask where things go, which is what makes the reassembly fast.

  4. Break down, move, rebuild

    Workstations disassembled and rebuilt, monitors and cables kept with their own desk, file systems moved in order.

  5. Walk it with you before we leave

    You check the suite against the plan while the crew and the trucks are still there, not on Monday when it is too late to fix.

Can you move us over a weekend so we do not lose a business day?

Yes, and most of our office moves happen exactly that way — out on Friday evening, in and rebuilt by Saturday, staff back at their desks Monday morning. There is no weekend or after-hours surcharge.

Do you provide a certificate of insurance for our building?

Yes. Most commercial buildings require a COI naming the property manager before they will release the freight elevator. Send us the building requirements when you book and we will issue it for both addresses.

Can you move our computers and monitors?

We wrap and transport them, keeping each workstation together as a set so it rebuilds correctly. We do not disconnect or reconnect network hardware or servers — your IT people should handle the shutdown and the bring-up, and we will schedule around them.

Do you move medical and dental offices?

Yes. Cabinetry, chairs, sterilizers and file systems. Specialty imaging equipment usually has a manufacturer-certified installer who must handle it — we work alongside them and move everything else.

What about the old furniture we are not taking?

Our TRASH DAY division clears it in the same visit. Office cleanouts are one of the most common things we get called for, and donating usable desks and chairs beats paying to dump them.
